I wish that I knew God's timing. I wish I could understand why I first had this vision 4 years ago, then again recently, and now not at all... I wish that I had it all figured out and then again I wish that I wouldn't have to handle all that responsibility.
God is working. Even when we don't feel him or see him, he's moving. It seems as though life is at a standstill, and a scary one at that, but its not. As long as I am breathing I can be serving. As long as I wake up in the morning I can love. As long at the second hand ticks I have more of myself to give.
So serve I will, love I will, give I will.
Oh praise you father. Praise your holy name!

Confirmation
After I wrote this blog yesterday I was tempted to erase and start all over. I didn't want to sound too ambitious or crazy. Boy am I glad I didn't do that!
This morning when I was reading my Bible I came across this treasure in Ezekiel 3: 12-15.
"Then the Spirit lifted me up and I heard behind me a loud rumbling sound - May the glory of the Lord be praised in his dwelling place! - the sound of the wings of the living creatures brushing against each other and the sound of the wheels beside them, a loud rumbling sound. The Spirit then lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the Lord upon me. I came to the exiles who lived at Tel Abib near the Kebar River. And there, where they were living, I sat among them for seven days - overwhelmed."
Beautiful, beautiful confirmation! Praise the Lord!!!! He will complete that which he has started!

It All Began With a Vision
In 2008 my husband, Robert, and I were worshipping at our local church when I had a vision that I can't forget. I was looking down on an African city (Bukavu, DR Congo I believe) when I saw two golden gates open from heaven. The ground started shaking and no on was left unaffected. Suddenly a herd of rhinos, too many too count, began pouring out of the golden gates, into the city and out into the bush lands. I asked the Lord what these rhinos were and he said revival.
I have held this vision in my heart for almost 4 years now because I didn't know what to do with it. Three weeks ago I saw the golden gates again and was reminded of God's purposes.
I am going to press in now and see what God does. It seems crazy to me, but when I read my 3 year old son Bible stories that say God does the impossible He asks me, "Do you believe this Emily?"
I have failed in the past and feel horribly incapable. Maybe this is perfect timing...
